That the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “The sneeze is from Allah and the yawn is from Ash-Shaitan. So when one of you yawns let him cover his mouth with his hand. For when he says ‘Ah, Ah’ Ash-Shaitan laughs from inside his opening.” [And indeed Allah loves the sneeze and He dislikes the Yawn, so when a man says Ah, Ah when yawning, indeed Ash-Shaitan laughs from inside his opening]

Ebû Hureyre (r.a.)’den rivâyete göre, Rasûlullah (s.a.v.) şöyle buyurdu: “Aksırmak Allah’tan esnemek ise şeytandandır. Biriniz esnediği zaman elini ağzına koysun. Esnediği an hah hah derken şeytan onun içinden güler. Allah aksırmaktan hoşlanır esnemekten hoşlanmaz. Kişi esnerken hah hah derse şeytan onun içinden ona güler.” Diğer tahric: Buhârî, Bedilhalk; Müslim, Zühd Tirmizî: Bu hadis hasen sahihtir
