وَهَذِهِ اَلزِّيَادَةُ فِي هَذَا اَلْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَ أَبِي دَاوُدَ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَلِيٍّ دُونَ قَوْلِهِ: «اِسْتَطْلَقَ اَلْوِكَاءُ» وَفِي كِلَا الْإِسْنَادَيْنِ ضَعْفٌ
Also reported by Abu Daud mentioning the above addition without the words “the string is untied”, but both versions are weak.
