حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّارُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ

قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ «هَذَانِ سَيِّدَا كُهُولِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مِنَ الأَوَّلِينَ وَالآخِرِينَ إِلاَّ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ». قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ

That the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said about Abu Bakr and Umar: “These two are the masters of the elder people among the inhabitants of Paradise. From the first ones and the last ones, not including the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) s and the Messengers. But do not inform them O Ali.”

আনাস (রাযিঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আবূ বাকর ও উমার (রাযিঃ) প্রসঙ্গে বলেছেনঃ এরা দু’জন নবী-রাসূলগণ ছাড়া পূর্বাপর জান্নাতের সকল বয়স্কদের নেতা হবেন। সহীহঃ দেখুন পরবর্তী হাদীস। আবূ ঈসা বলেন, উপর্যুক্ত সনদে এ হাদীসটি হাসান গারীব।

انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابوبکر و عمر رضی الله عنہما کے سلسلہ میں فرمایا: ”یہ دونوں جنت کے ادھیڑ عمر والوں کے سردار ہوں گے، خواہ وہ اگلے ہوں یا پچھلے، سوائے انبیاء و مرسلین کے، ( آپ نے فرمایا: ) ”علی ان دونوں کو اس بات کی خبر مت دینا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث اس سند سے حسن غریب ہے۔

Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Hasan bin As Shabah Al Bazzar] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Katsir Al 'Abdi] dari [Al Auza'i] dari [Qatadah] dari [Anas] dia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda kepada Abu Bakar dan Umar: "Dua orang ini adalah penghulu penduduk syurga yang berusia dewasa dari orang pertama hingga yang terakhir selain para Nabi dan para Rasul, jangan beritahu kepada keduanya wahai Ali." What it means

What it teaches

• Abu Bakr and ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) are the best people after the prophets and messengers.
• There is no old person in Paradise; rather, whoever is admitted therein will be at the age of thirty-three. What is meant here is that they are the masters of those who died in this world from the elderly, or that this is based on what they were in this world at the time of this Hadīth.
