Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 93His father had carried him to the Messenger
of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He said, ‘Messenger of
Allah, I testify to you that I have given an-Numan such-and-such. (It was
a slave). The Prophet asked, ‘Have you given each of your children…Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 555An-Numan ibn Bashir was heard to say on the minbar, “Shaitan has
snares and traps. The snares and traps of Shaitan are to exult ungratefully
in the blessings of Allah, to boast about the gifts of Allah, to have pride
at the expense of the slaves of Allah, and…Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 716The Prophet, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, said, “Supplication is worship.” Then he recited,
‘Call on Me and I will answer you.’
