وَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ اللَّيْثِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ

بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ. مِثْلَهُ. وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قَوْلَ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَذُكِرَ لِي. وَمَا بَعْدَهُ

A hadith like this has been narrated by Ibn Shihab with the same chain of transmitters, but therein no mention has been made of the words of al-Zuhri: It was narrated to me, and that which followed.

اور یہی روایت مجھ ( امام مسلم ) کو سوید بن سعید نے علی بن مسہر سے اور انہو ں نے اعمش سے مذکورہ بالا سند کے ساتھ بیان کی ۔ اس میں إن رسول اللهﷺ ( یقیناً رسول اللہ ﷺنے ) کے بجائےرأيت رسول الله ﷺ ( میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیکھا ) کے الفاظ ہیں ۔
