حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

قَالَتْ كَانَ وِسَادَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّتِي يَتَّكِئُ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ أَدَمٍ حَشْوُهَا لِيفٌ

Aishah reported that the pillow on which the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) reclined was of leather stuffed with palm fibre.

হারূন ইবনু সাঈদ আল আয়লী (রহঃ) ..... হাফসাহ ইবনু উবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনু আনাস ইবনু মালিক (রাযিঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি আনাস ইবনু মালিক (রাযিঃ) কে বলতে শুনেছেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম জুমুআর দিন মিম্বারে উপবিষ্ট অবস্থায় তার নিকট একজন বেদুঈন আসল ... বাকী হাদীস পূর্ববৎ বর্ণনা করেন। তবে এ কথাটুকু বাড়িয়ে বলেছেন- আমি দেখলাম মেঘমালা ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে, যেন গোছানো চাদরকে প্রসারিত করা হয়েছে। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৯৫২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)

حفص بن عبیداللہ بن انس بن مالک نے بیان کیاکہ انھوں نے حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، وہ کہہ رہے تھے : جمعے کے دن ایک اعرابی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا جبکہ آپ منبر پر تھے ۔ ۔ ۔ ( آگے مذکورہ بالاحدیث کے مانند ) حدیث بیان کی اور اس میں یہ اضافہ کیا : میں نے بادل کو دیکھاوہ اس طرح چھٹ رہا تھا جیسے وہ ایک بڑی چادر ہوجب اسے لپیٹا جارہا ہو ۔

Bize, Hârûn b. Said El-Eylî rivayet etti. (Dediki): Bize İbni Vehb rivayet etti. (Dediki): Bana Usâme rivayet etti; ona da Hafs b. Ubeydillâh b. Enes b. Mâlik rivayet etmiş. Hafs da Enesü'bnu Mâlik'i şöyle derken işitmiş: «Bir cum'a günü Resulullah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem) minberde iken ona bir bedevi geldi...» Ve râvî hadîsi (böylece) rivayet etti. What it means

What it teaches

• It illustrates the asceticism and renunciation of worldly pleasures that the Prophet (ﷺ) practiced, even though Allah Almighty had empowered him to enjoy them if he had wished to do so.
• The permissibility of using beds and pillows, and sleeping or reclining on them.
• A Muslim should reflect on his own condition and way of living in light of the condition of his Prophet (ﷺ), for he is the best example to follow. Whoever follows in his footsteps will be rightly guided and successful in this world and the Hereafter.
• Keenness on being prepared for the Hereafter, and for the believer to be content with what helps him obey Allah in this world, without being preoccupied with amassing its pleasures. Allah condemned a people who did so, saying: {Competition for worldly gains distracts you [from Allah], until you come to your graves.} [Surat at-Takāthur: 1-2]
