حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

رضى الله عنهما أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَعْتَكِفُ فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) used to observe itikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan.

আবুত তহির (রহঃ) .... আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন। তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বলেছেন, আমাকে শত্রুর বিরুদ্ধে প্রবল প্রভাব দ্বারা সাহায্য করা হয়েছে। আমাকে সংক্ষিপ্ত অথচ ব্যাপক অর্থবোধক কথা বলার ক্ষমতা দান করা হয়েছে। আর একদিন ঘুমের মাঝে স্বপ্নে আমার কাছে পৃথিবীর ধন-ভণ্ডারের চাবিসমূহ এনে আমার হাতে দেয়া হয়েছে। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১০৫২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার)

۔ ابو ہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ کے آزاد کردہ غلام ابو یونس سے روایت ہے ۔ انہوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے حدیث سنائی ، انہوں نے رسول اللہﷺ سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ دشمن پر رعب طاری کر کے میرے مدد کی گئی ، مجھے جامع کلمات سے نوازا گیا اور میں نیند کے عالم میں تھا کہ زمین کے خزانوں کی کنجیاں میرے پاس لائی گئیں اور انہیں میرے ہاتھوں میں دے دیا گیا ۔ ‘ ‘

Dan telah menceritakan kepadaku [Abu ath-Thahir] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb] dari [Amru bin al-Harits] dari [Abu Yunus, maula Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu'anhu] bahwasanya dia telah menceritakan kepadanya dari [Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu'anhu] dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bahwa beliau bersabda, "Aku ditolong dengan rasa takut (yang dihunjamkan) di dada musuh-musuhku, aku diberi Jawami' al-Kalim, ketika aku tidur maka aku diberi kunci-kunci gudang penyimpanan bumi, lalu diletakkan di kedua tanganku

Bana Ebu't-Tâhir rivayet etti. (Dediki): Bize ibni Vehb, Amr b. El-Hâris'den, o da Ebu Hureyre'nin azatlısı Ebu Yûnus'dan naklen haber verdi. Ona da Ebu Hureyre, Nebi (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem) 'den naklen rivayet etmişki Resulullah (Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem): «Ben düşmanım üzerine korku verilmekle mansûr kılındım. Bana Cevâmiü'l-Kelîm'de verildi. Bir defa ben uyurken yer hazinelerinin anahtarları bana getirilerek ellerime konuldu.» buyurmuşlar

What it means

Abu Sa‘īd al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform I‘tikāf in the middle ten days of Ramadan, in pursuit of Laylat al-Qadr. One year, he stayed as usual in I‘tikāf up to the night of the twenty-first (of Ramadan). On the morning of that night, he was supposed to end his I‘tikāf.

However, he learned that Laylat al-Qadr would be in the last ten nights. So he told his Companions who stayed in I‘tikāf with him the middle ten nights to continue their I‘tikāf the last ten nights.

He also told them that Allah, the Almighty, showed him Laylat al-Qadr in his sleep, but later made him forget which night it was. However, in that year he saw in his sleep a sign of that night, which was his prostration in the morning prayer on water and mud. Allah fulfilled the vision of His Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and it rained on the night of the twenty-first.

The mosque of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was built like a lattice; its pillars were made of palm trunks and its roof made of palm stalks and fronds. Therefore, the roof leaked from rain, and the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prostrated on water and mud in prayer on the morning of the twenty-first.
