وَعَن أُمِّ عطيَّةَ الأنصاريَّةِ
أنَّ امْرَأَة كَانَت تختن بِالْمَدِينَةِ. فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تُنْهِكِي فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَحْظَى لِلْمَرْأَةِ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى الْبَعْلِ»
Umm Atiya al-Ansariya told that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said to a woman who used to perform circumcision (on girls) in Medina, “Do not cut severely, as that is better for a woman and more desirable to a husband.”
