وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى
قَالَ: احْتَرَقَ بَيْتٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَحُدِّثَ بِشَأْنِهِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ هَذِهِ النَّارُ إِنَّمَا هِيَ عَدُوٌّ لَكُمْ فَإِذَا نِمْتُمْ فأطفئوها عَنْكُم»
When a house in Medina was burned down during the night over its inhabitants and the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was told, he said, “This fire is just an enemy to you, so when you go to sleep extinguish it.”
