وَعَن السَّائِب بْنِ يَزِيدَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ دِرْعَانِ قَدْ ظَاهَرَ بَيْنَهُمَا
As-Saib ibn Yazid told that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) wore two coats of mail at the battle of Uhud as a double protection.
