وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي وَزِدْنِي عِلْمًا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ حَالِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ»
Abu Hurayrah told that God’s messenger used to say, “O God, grant me benefit in what Thou hast taught me, teach me what will benefit me, and increase my knowledge. Praise be to God in all circumstances. I seek refuge in God from the state of those who go to hell.”
