وَعَن أبي الْحُوَيْرِث
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَتَبَ إِلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ وَهُوَ بِنَجْرَانَ عَجِّلِ الْأَضْحَى وَأَخِّرِ الْفِطْرَ وَذَكِّرِ النَّاسَ
God’s Messenger wrote to Amr ibn Hazm when he was in Najran telling him to observe the prayer early on the day of sacrifice and late on the day of the breaking of the fast, and to admonish the people. Shafii transmitted it.
