عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّهُمَا قَالَا: سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَلَى أَعْوَادِ مِنْبَرِهِ: «لِيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمُ الْجُمُعَاتِ أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَيَكُونُنَّ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ»
Ibn Umar and Abu Hurayrah said they heard God’s Messenger say on the beams of his pulpit, “People must cease to neglect the Friday prayers, or God will seal up their hearts and they will be among the negligent.”
