‘The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) sacrificed his animal before he shaved and commanded his companions to do so.’ Related by Al-Bukhari.
وَعَنْ اَلْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحَرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ، وَأَمَرَ أَصْحَابَهُ بِذَلِكَ»
