I went on an expedition with the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and heard him say, “People are partners in three things: grazing, pasture, water and fire.”.
وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ اَلصَّحَابَةِ رضى الله عنه
قَالَ: «غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: اَلنَّاسُ شُرَكَاءُ فِي ثَلَاثٍ: فِي اَلْكَلَأِ، وَالْمَاءِ، وَالنَّارِ»

كذا في «الأصلين «وهو وهم من الحافظ رحمه الله فهذا اللفظ ليس عند أحمد، ولا عند أبي داود، وإنما عندهما بلفظ: «المسلمون»، ثم رأيته رحمه الله ساقه في «التلخيص» (3 / 65) بلفظ: «المسلمون «بعد أن عزاه لأحمد وأبي داود.2 صحيح. رواه أحمد (5 /364)، وأبو داود» (3477)
