The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “This and this are the same.” He meant the little finger and the thumb.

I heard the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) (saying the same as above Hadith).

Semisal hadits diatas

İbn Abbas'ın nakline göre Nebi Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem serçe parmakla, başparmağı kastederek "İşte şu ve şu birbirine eşittir" buyurmuştur. Fethu'l-Bari Açıklaması: "Parmakların diyeti" başlığı, parmakların diyeti birbirine eşit midir yoksa farklı mıdır anlamınadır.

"Nebi s.a.v. serçe parmakla, başparmağı kastederek 'İşte şu ve şu birbirine eşittir' buyurmuştur." İbn Ebi Asım'ın nakline göre Mervan, Said b. el-Müseyyeb 'i, İbn Abbas'a göndererek parmakların diyetin i sordurmuştur.

İmam Malik'in eserinde Amr b. Hazm'ın mektubunda da "Parmakların her birinin diyetinin on olduğu" ifade edilmiştir. İbn Mace'de Amr b. Şuayb'ın babası vasıtasıyla dedesinden nakline göre Nebi Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem "Parmakların tümü (diyet açısından) birbirine eşittir. Her bir parmak İçİn on deve verilir" buyurmuştur.(İbn Mace, Diyat) Ebu Davud bunu iki hadis şeklinde nakletmiştir, senedi ceyyiddir.

Tirmizi şöyle demiştir: İlim adamları nezdinde uygulama bu doğrultuda olmuştur. Sevri, Şafii, Ahmed b. Hanbel ve İshak bu görüşü benimsemişlerdir. Biz de belli başlı beldelerdeki fıkıh bilginlerinin (fukahau'l-emsar) tümünün bu kanaatte olduklarını belirtelim

Sahih al-Bukhari 6895, Book 87, Blood Money (Ad-Diyat), Hadith 33. 1 min read

What it means

There are ten fingers in the two hands. If a finger is cut off, the perpetrator must pay one tenth of the blood money given for a camel. There is no difference between any of the fingers. The pinky finger, which is the smallest finger, located at the external point of the palm, and the thumb, which is a big finger that is mainly used in holing stuff, striking, and other purposes, are equal in regards to blood money.

If all the fingers of the two hands are cut off or damaged, the perpetrator has to pay the complete amount of blood money. The two feet are the same as the hands. As for the fingers, although they are obviously different and each of them has a job which could not be done by the other, all of them are equal with regard to blood money. Indeed Allah is All-Knowing and All-Aware.
