حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ زُرَارَةَ بْنَ أَوْفَى، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهْوَ حَافِظٌ لَهُ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ، وَمَثَلُ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهْوَ يَتَعَاهَدُهُ وَهْوَ عَلَيْهِ شَدِيدٌ، فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ»

The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “Such a person as recites the Qur’an and masters it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven). And such a person exerts himself to learn the Qur’an by heart, and recites it with great difficulty, will have a double reward.”

‘আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন, কুরআনের হাফিয পাঠক লিপিকর সম্মানিত মালাকের মত। খুব কষ্টদায়ক হওয়া সত্ত্বেও যে বারবার কুরআন মাজীদ পাঠ করে, সে দ্বিগুণ পুরস্কার পাবে। [মুসলিম ৬/৩৮, হাঃ ৭৯৮, আহমাদ ২৪৭২১]

ہم سے آدم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے قتادہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے زرارہ بن اوفی سے سنا، وہ سعد بن ہشام سے بیان کرتے تھے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اس شخص کی مثال جو قرآن پڑھتا ہے اور وہ اس کا حافظ بھی ہے، مکرم اور نیک لکھنے والے ( فرشتوں ) جیسی ہے اور جو شخص قرآن مجید باربار پڑھتا ہے۔ پھر بھی وہ اس کے لیے دشوار ہے تو اسے دوگنا ثواب ملے گا۔

Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Adam] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Qatadah] ia berkata; Aku mendengar [Zurarah bin Aufa] menceritakan dari [Sa'd bin Hisyam] dari [Aisyah] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Perumpamaan orang membaca Al Qur`an sedangkan ia menghafalnya, maka ia akan bersama para Malaikat mulia.

Sedangkan perumpamaan seorang yang membaca Al Qur`an dengan tekum, dan ia mengalami kesulitan atasnya, maka dia akan mendapat dua ganjaran pahala

Katâde tahdîs edip şöyle demiştir: Ben Zurâre ibn Evfâ'dan işittim, o Sa'd ibn Hişâm'dan; o da Âişe (r.anha)'den tahdîs ediyordu ki, Peygamber(sallallahü aleyhi ve sellem) şöyle buyurmuştur: "Kur'ân'ı ezberleyerek okuyan hafız kişinin meseli (sıfat ve şânı) es-Seferetu'l-Kirâm olan meleklerle beraberdir. Kuran 'ı hafız olmayarak kendisine zor geldiği hâlde taahhüdedip çalışarak okuyan kimsenin meseli ise, ona iki ecir vardır"(Kur'ân okumak ecri, zorluk ecri)

What it teaches

• Encouraging memorization of the Qur'an, mastering its recitation, and frequently reciting it to attain the reward and recompense, along with highlighting the elevated status of those who do so.
• Al-Qādi said: It does not mean that the one who stutters in the recitation has a greater reward than the proficient reciter. Rather, the proficient reciter is superior and has a greater reward because he is with the angel-scribes and receives multiple rewards. This elevated status was not mentioned to anyone else. How could someone who has not shown the same dedication to the Book of Allah, its memorization, mastery, frequent recitation, and understanding until he has excelled in it be equal to him?!
• Ibn Bāz said: The one who recites the Qur’an proficiently, mastering its recitation and memorizing it well, will be with the noble and obedient angel-scribes, i.e., if he recites it both in word and action—not merely recitation alone. He excels in reciting it and acting upon it, i.e., he adheres to it both in word and meaning.
