حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ

قَالَ حَفِظْتُهُ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ كَمَا أَنَّكَ هَا هُنَا أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ رضى الله عنهم عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ»

The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “Angels do not enter a house that has either a dog or a picture in it.”

আবূ ত্বলহা (রাঃ) সূত্রে নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ‘যে বাড়িতে কুকুর এবং প্রাণীর ছবি থাকে তাতে ফেরেশতামন্ডলী প্রবেশ করেন না।’ (২৩২৫)

ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے زہری سے اس حدیث کو اس طرح یاد رکھا کہ مجھ کو کوئی شک ہی نہیں، جیسے اس میں شک نہیں کہ تو اس جگہ موجود ہے۔ ( انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ ) مجھے عبیداللہ نے خبر دی، انہیں ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے اور انہیں ابوطلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” ( رحمت کے ) فرشتے ان گھروں میں نہیں داخل ہوتے جن میں کتا یا ( جاندار کی ) تصویر ہو۔“

Telah bercerita kepada kami ['Ali bin 'Abdullah] telah bercerita kepada kami [Sufyan] berkata aku mengingatnya dari [Az Zuhriy] sebagaimana sekarang kamu berdada di sini, telah mengabarkan kepadaku ['Ubaidullah] dari [Ibnu 'Abbas] dari [Abu Thalhah radliallahu 'anhum] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Malaikat tidak akan memasuki rumah yang di dalamnya ada anjing dan tidak juga yang ada gambar

Ebu Talha'dan nakledildiğine göre Resulullah Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem şöyle buyurmuştur: "İçinde köpek ve resim (suret) bulunan eve melekler girmez

What it means

What it teaches

• It is prohibited to acquire a dog, except for a hunting dog, a shepherd dog, or a farming dog.
• Keeping images is an evil practice that causes the angels to leave the place, and their presence is a reason for deprivation of mercy, which also applies to keeping a dog.
• The angels who do not enter a house with a dog or an image are the angels of mercy. As for the keepers and others who are assigned certain tasks, like the angel of death, they can still enter any house.
• It is prohibited to hang images of animate beings on the walls and other places.
• Al-Khattābi said: Angels do not enter a house with a dog or an image of the forbidden type. As for hunting, farming, or shepherd dogs and the trodden images such as in carpets, pillows, and other things; they are not forbidden, so the angels do not refrain from entering a house because of them.
