The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “Whoever gives two kinds (of things or property) in charity for Allah’s Cause, will be called from the gates of Paradise and will be addressed, ‘O slaves of Allah! Here is prosperity.’ So, whoever was amongst the people who used to offer their prayers, will be called from the gate of the prayer; and whoever was amongst the people who used to participate in Jihad, will be called from the gate of Jihad; and whoever was amongst those who used to observe fasts, will be called from the gate of Ar-Raiyan; whoever was amongst those who used to give in charity, will be called from the gate of charity.”

Abu Bakr said, “Let my parents be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)! No distress or need will befall him who will be called from those gates. Will there be any one who will be called from all these gates?” The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) replied, “Yes, and I hope you will be one of them.”

Ebu Hureyre r.a. Nebi Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem'in şöyle buyurduğunu nakletmiştir: "Kim Allah yolunda bir çift mal infak ederse cennetin kapılarından şöyle seslenilir: Ey Allah'ın kulu, senin bu yaptığın gerçekten bir hayırdır. Namaza devam edenler (namaz ehli) namaz kapısından çağırılırlar, cihad edenler (cihad ehli) cihad kapısından çağırılırlar, oruçlarını aksatmayanlar (oruç ehli) Reyyan kapısından davet edilirler, sadaka verenler (sadaka ehli) sadaka kapısından ağırlanırlar."

Nebi Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem böyle buyurduktan sonra Ebu Bekir (r.a.): "Anam babam sana feda olsun ey Allah'ın Resulü! Bu kapılardan çağırılan kimselere hiçbir sıkıntı olmayacağı belli. Peki bahsettiğiniz kapıların hepsinden çağırılan biri olacak mı?"

diye sordu. Bunun üzerine Resulullah Sallallahu Aleyhi ve Sellem şöyle buyurdu: ''Evet, umarım sen onlardan biri olursun!" Tekrar: 3216, 3666, 7841 Diğer tahric edenler: Tirmizi, Menakıb; Müslim, Zekat

What it means

Whoever spent in charity two of anything such as food, clothing, means of transport or money, seeking Allah’s pleasure, the angels will call him from the gates of Paradise, welcoming his arrival, saying: You offered a lot of good things for which you will be greatly rewarded today. Those who offer a lot of prayers will be called from the gate of prayer and enter from it.

Those who give a lot of charity will be called from the gate of charity and enter from it. Those who fast a lot will be received at the gate of Ar-Rayyān by the angels who will allow them to enter from it. The meaning of "Ar-Rayyān" is what quenches the thirst, because fasting people abstain from drinking water and consequently become thirsty, especially in the hot long days of summer.

Therefore, they will be rewarded for their thirst by quenching it perpetually in Paradise, which they will enter from that gate. When Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) heard that Hadīth, he said: “O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you! Whoever enters from any of those gates will never miss or lose anything.”

Then he said: “Will anyone be called from all of those gates?” So he said: "Yes, and I hope that you will be one of them"
