The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “The prayer of a person who does Hadath (passes urine, stool or wind) is not accepted till he performs the ablution.” A person from Hadaramout asked Abu Hurayrah, “What is ‘Hadath’?” Abu Hurayrah replied, “ ‘Hadath’ means the passing of wind.”

Ebu Hureyre r.a. Hadramevt ahâlîsinden biri: "Ya Eba Hureyre, hades nedir?" diye sordu. "Sessiz veya sesli yel." cevâbını verdi
