حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيْدُ، أَنْبَأَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ
رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ مَا لَهُمْ مَلَأَ اللَّهُ بُيُوتَهُمْ وَقُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا كَمَا حَبَسُونَا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى غَابَتْ الشَّمْسُ
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said on the day of al-Khandaq: ‘What is wrong with them? May Allah fill their houses and graves with fire as they distracted us from the middle prayer until the sun set.’
