حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَا عَائِشُ، هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ، وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ، قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ: وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، تَرَى مَا لَا أَرَى. تُرِيدُ بِذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Aishah reported, “The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, ‘Aish! This is Jibril who sends you greetings.’ I said, ‘And peace be upon him and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. You see what I do not see.’ By that she meant the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), may Allah bless him and grant him peace.”
