The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: when one of you prostrates himself he must not kneel in the manner of camel, but should put down his hands before his knees.

Ebu Hureyre (r.a.)'den; demiştir ki: Nebi (Sallallahu aleyhi ve Sellem); "Biriniz secdeye vardığında deve gibi çökmesin, dizlerinden önce ellerini (yere) koysun" buyurdu. Diğer tahric: Tirmizî, salat; Nesaî, tatbik; Darimî, salat; Ahmed b. Hanbel, II

What it means

This Hadīth demonstrates the way of going down for prostration. It suggests that one should place his hands down before his knees. However, there are other Hadīths stating that one should place his knees down before his hands. So, both ways are valid, and the one who does this or that should not be subject to criticism.
