The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: When one of you receives an invitation (for a meal), he should accept it. If he isn to fasting, he should eat, and if he is fasten, he should pray. Hisham said: The word salat means to pray (for him to Allah).

Ebu Hureyre (r.a.)'den; demiştirki; Rasûlullah (s.a.v.): "Sizden biriniz (bir ziyafete) davet edildiği zaman, davete gitsin; eğer oruçlu değilse yesin, oruçlu ise, dûa etsin." buyurdu. Müslim, nikâh; Tirmizî, savm; Ahmed b. Hanbel, II, 279, 489, 507. Hişam وَالصَّلَاةُ "kelimesi dua manasınadır" dedi. Ebu Dâvûd dedi ki; "Bu hadisi Hafs b. Ğıyas da Hişam'dan rivayet etmiştir
