Surah Ash-Sharh 94
سُورَةُ الشَّرۡحِ“The Consolation”8 Ayat
94:1Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast?أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
94:1
94:2And We removed from you your burdenوَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَأَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast?
94:2
94:3Which had weighed upon your backٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَوَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ
And We removed from you your burden
94:3
94:4And raised high for you your repute.وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ
Which had weighed upon your back
94:4
94:5For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًاوَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
And raised high for you your repute.
94:5
94:6Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًافَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
94:6
94:7So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
94:7
94:8And to your Lord direct [your] longing.وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَبفَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ
So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
94:8
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب
And to your Lord direct [your] longing.
