Qur'an 43:60
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنَا مِنكُم مَّلَٰٓئِكَةً فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يَخْلُفُونَ
Translation
And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you angels succeeding [one another] on the earth.
