Qur'an 36:74
وَٱتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
Translation
But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.
