وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ ١
Woe to every scorner and mocker

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَّعَدَّدَهُۥ ٢
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.
يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ ٣
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.
كـَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ ٤
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ ٥
And what can make you know what is the Crusher?
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ ٦
It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled,
ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ ٧
Which mounts directed at the hearts.
إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ ٨
Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them
فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ ٩
In extended columns.
وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ ١ ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَّعَدَّدَهُۥ ٢ يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ ٣ كـَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ ٤ وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ ٥ نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ ٦ ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ ٧ إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ ٨ فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ ٩
